El Nido is a Philippine municipality on Palawan island. It is also known for white-sand beaches, coral reefs and as the gateway to the Bacuit archipelago, a group of islands with steep karst cliffs. Miniloc Island is famed for the clear waters of its Small and Big lagoons. Nearby Shimizu Island has fish-filled waters. The area has many dive sites, including Dilumacad Island’s long tunnel leading to an underwater cavern. ― Google
On the other hand, Puerto Princesa serves as the entry point for exploring the Palawan Subterranean River National Park. Home to long-nosed dolphins, turtles and rays, Puerto Princesa bay boasts of interesting dive sites.
This tour starts and ends in Puerto Princesa and includes the 5 hour road trip to El Nido on a shared van. Most families we booked for Palawan loved this itinerary though.
